Sahuaro Ranch was the first official residence in what is now Glendale, Arizona. In 1886, William H. Bartlett, pilgrim and settler, built his 640-acre fruit farm. The farmer constructed a main homestead along with 13 outbuildings. However, it was William J. Murphy and three other innovators, Clark Churchill, M.W. Kales and William A. Hancock, who made Bartlett’s land inhabitable.

Avondale, Arizona, was founded in 1880. During that time, the city was called Coldwater. Its founder, William G. Moore, established the settlement when he arrived along the Agua Fria River. Most people who knew William called him Billy. Although it has not been proven, Billy was supposedly a part of the Quantrill Gang during the Civil War. Throughout his life, Billy was known for embellishing stories. Many of his stories mixed fact with fiction.

Summer is coming up very soon. Have you thought about having service done on your air conditioning equipment?
