The Future of Air Conditioning
The Wave of the Future: Solar Air Conditioning
The evolution of the air conditioning process has come full circle away from its original foundations. Wherein at one time, air conditioning depended on gases and liquids to activate its cooling force, a more natural technology is now being prepared for use that’s not only more proficient, but is also more cost effective. The new power source is called solar air conditioning, also known as thermal powered air conditioning, which applies the heat from the sun’s rays to absorption chillers to operate the air conditioning system. Solar powered air conditioning is a renewable energy source that drew a questionable reputation initially, possibly because it was introduced prematurely before it was properly tested. However, since the base source for solar energy is the sun’s rays, it’s a perfect choice for use in areas that literally bake in sunlight. Also, since the sun’s rays cover the entire earth, this air conditioning source can be supplied naturally for everyone, clearing the way for an environmentally-clean earth.
Thermal air conditioning is not new; it’s just that it hasn’t yet been as widely deployed as the traditional air conditioning system has been. Solar air conditioning uses a Glycol solution (antifreeze) and a plain yet judiciously designed system of pipes, pumps and controllers. This being the case, maintenance and operating costs are extremely low because it’s a simple unit that requires very little electricity to run. Under these circumstances, there would be less chance of not being able to receive buckeye air conditioning repair services in a timely fashion because solar powered air conditioning promises reduced maintenance needs.
