Three basic laws of air conditioning
Law number one
There is no such thing as cold until the temperature reaches 460 degrees below zero.
Everything has heat , we are not getting something colder we are removing heat.
Your refrigerator does not really get cold, it takes the heat from the refrigerator and moves it to the room .
The air conditioning system in your home takes heat from your house and puts that heat outside thus getting your home cooler.
Law number two
Heat will always move and flow to cooler temperature. You cannot stop this flow it will always happen .
The larger the gap in temperature the faster the transfer takes place.
What this means is that the more we insulate our homes the slower the transfer of heat; that is why insulation is so important.
Law number three
When a liquid changes from a liquid to a gas it must give up it’s heat.
This is the law of changing states of liquid.
That is the basic way air conditioning works
